Redevelopment of the Prestwick Toll in 1968, looking from Pleasantfield Road towards the shops on Ayr Road. The new five-story block on the right was one of four, all named after Scottish and Irish islands. The huts and space beyond were about to be replaced by a car park and a new Toll Bar, while the boarded up block with the outside stairs would be replaced by a single story row of sheltered housing.
